A bit about me
« on: July 22, 2007, 04:46:10 PM »
Just thoguht i'd let you guys know a bit about me :)

I'm Glen, from the Isle of Arran on the west coast of Scotland, and a very keen swimmer  ;)

What possed me to make this site? Well my dream is to become an Airline Pilot, I was very close to getting into the CTC Flying school in New Zealand at the start of this year, but they felt I lacked the airline industry experince, which was true! So I am now working at Glasgow Airport as a customer service agent for bmi. Hopefully next year, when I return to the CTC interview in Bournemouth they will accpet me onto the last stage of selection ( there are 4 and I never got past stage 3 this year ).

During my third year at University of Glasgow studying Aeronautical Engineering I had an accident cycling home one day and shattered my kneecap, so I missed a lot of uni since I had to return home to arran to recover. During this time  I started experimenting making websites to see if I could generate any income that way, and I could, but only a few $0.01s here and there  :2funny:

The flying school will cost me £70,000 and its kind of hard to save that amount in a couple of years from just 1 job, so I have decided to try making websites that are usefull and informative, swimchat.co.uk being one of them.  :D

Some of my other websites at the moment are:
ArranWildlife.eu
GSinfo.co.uk
BonditoBronte.com
BwAv.co.uk
Simple-Travel.net Nearing completion, slowly...
Thank you for your support!  8)

Introduced yourself as an easy task, but it is very difficult for the freshers during an interview. so be confident about the interview.
