The US Swim Team Olympic trials are now over, and Phelps has qualified for a total of 8 events

Will this year be the year he breaks Mark Spitz's record of 7 golds at a single olympics(that record has stood since 1972!)?
personnaly, I think he will, as long as the relay team doesn't let him down , when you see him swim, and those great big underwater sections he does, its just awesome to watch

So we are pretty certain who will be getting the gold medals for the men, and it probably won't be a british male swimmer . But who, out of the british team, do you think are capable of winning  medals for britain in the pool?

Well he did it, all 8 golds in all 8 of his events. What a machine phelps is !
